I really enjoy this movie, from the beginning to the end. Really, I wonder how I did not watch it before. I like the intelligence and innocence of the boy that he thought that it was only game, and actually he was provoking a war between Russia and the United States. In the other hand, it talked about something important, and also one of the characters mentioned it, which is letting the computer to take important decisions and have that much power. Although I am a future software engineer and I love technology, I am conscious that the computer has to have limits in order to avoid situations like the movie’s.

The movie also was funny. Although the movie is a little bit old, it highlights the importance for informatic security. In spite of the boy was very intelligent and curious, it is insulting and unacceptable that the US Air Force system was easy to access, especially if important decisions depend on it. I think that nowadays is a very important thing, because with the pass of the time the computer systems are becoming more crucial in the processes they are involved, Moreover, the sensible data that we are generating is too much and the security over that data is also more important.

Overall, I like it very much. It was interesting watch how a boy penetrates the security of US Air Force, which couldn’t do something to avoid it. Also, it taught me about the importance of the security of the systems. We need to understand that software could be a powerful tool, if we had limits on it, but could mean the death if we did not know how to use it. Finally, we need to be conscious about everything we build in order to avoid this kind of things.
